Security and reliability come from decisions made while a platform is built: who can reach what, what is encrypted, what is backed up and how quickly you are back after a failure.
Security
We set up least-privilege identities for people and workloads, short-lived credentials and an audit trail of who did what. The foundations include network isolation, encryption, managed secrets, and scanning of images and dependencies in the pipeline.
Reliability
Backups are automated, encrypted and monitored, and we test restoring them, because a backup job says nothing about whether a restore works. For disaster recovery we first agree targets with you (how much data you can lose, how long you can be down) and then design for them, from a simple restore to multi-zone or multi-region setups, with rehearsals.
Reviews
If you want to know where you stand, we write down the risks with effort and priority, and then do the work to close them. For AWS environments this can start with a free Well-Architected Review.
